CLIENT PROJECT
Meander in B&B
Overview
When John and Sue Ross moved to Merrivale in KwaZulu-Natal in 2014, they faced ongoing issues with poor water taste, limescale build-up, and geyser efficiency at their guesthouse, Meander In B&B. The local municipal supply carried a distinct chemical flavour, and an existing geyser had already failed due to hard water deposits.
Solution
A Wellan 2000 Water Purification Ring was installed on the property’s main water line. The ring immediately began improving water quality throughout the building without the use of chemicals or filters.
Results
Since installing the Wellan 2000 system, the guesthouse has enjoyed:
-
Clear, clean, and better-tasting water with no chemical aftertaste.
-
Reduced limescale formation and no further geyser issues.
-
Noticeable energy savings from more efficient heating.
-
Consistently reliable water quality suitable for both guests and household use.
Client feedback
John & Sue Ross
“Since fitting the ring we have very clear, clean and untainted water coming through the taps. Our water became drinkable with no chemical aftertaste. Power costs have reduced and we’ve had no further issues with the geysers or hot water supply.”
